In the long, narrow hangar in the Asiat Park at the HORST site, we introduce a scenography that transforms into settings for dance, social interaction and performance. Our starting point is the essence of the club: a place where bodies move—sometimes together, sometimes alone—at varying rhythms and intensities, spanning both night and day. The scenography is built around a central dance floor, defined by four monumental colored nets. These rotate and transform, allowing the design to adapt and respond to the composition of the moment. The scale of the space constantly reinvents itself in synergy with the energy of the night. Surrounding the dance floor, a topographical landscape of platforms and structures unfolds, each with its own function and character. Overhead, the ceiling forms a tapestry of points of light, designed by Ofer Smilansky.

The industrial monumentality of the hangar is accentuated by (reused) cross formed masts, featuring (deadstock) reflective aluminum panels; these catch the light and mirror movement, acting like abstract dance partners.

Thanks to all the volunteers, building up the scenography during the HORST workshops weeks, this project is part of Horst festivals, Horst Club weekends, and temporary programming at Asiat Park over a two-year period.
